Moctezuma's "Bloodless"

Originally featured in Ascent Aspirations in August 2007, to whose editors grateful acknowledgment is made.

Bloodless

We accept the stupid president
military spending capitalist money
military spreading democracy
hanging their leaders
but no-one dare question ours
we accept them peeking our emails
tapping the phones
our own superiority.
We do not accept any of this when challenged
full of shit bastards that we are
with laziness
impotence
self-loathing
if we respected ourselves we'd stand up
we'd get the gloves, the guns, the masks, the SAMs
but we rather stay on the couch and order a pizza
have strangers lick our genitals
(you may call that person a partner or not,
it's still a stranger)
in the dark
erogenous zones
have their own desires
and needs
that motivate us to shadows;
similar to that desire for power

We accept the shadows
while our leaders shine and blaze

There's a lot going on at litchaos.com right now.  A new issue has just come out, so check that out. What else? I'm looking to publish my book soon at Coatlism Press. Maybe sometime early 2009.

Also, we received our first Erotica submissions. The day has finally come.

Ralph-Michael wrote a blurb about me on his blog. link to rmc

Check out the Red Mama at litchaos.com issue #39

News:
New piece of art (my first published piece of artwork!) at litchaos.com. It's called "Red Mama" as a kind of toast to Yellow Mama, the kick-ass ezine where I'm excitedly expecting my work in the next issue. Anyway, "Red Mama" is dirty and delicious in true Moctezuma Johnson style. That's the only way I know how to do it.

Behind the scenes:
The models asked that their names be withheld. The words asked the same. So no more information is available at this time.

The Book of Real & Imaginary Girlfriends

My first book of poetry and a bit of fiction will be coming out soon, in 2009. Anybody who would like to offer a review, please contact me at moctezuma.johnson@gmail.com, and I'll send you out a free galley (book).
